Drew noticed Bianca walking angrily down the hallway, not even looking up to greet him. She was avoiding him, it was obvious. He sighed, shutting his locker as he went towards hers. She was fumbling with the combination lock, getting frustrated that it wouldn’t open. Drew walked up, his head low, “want me to try opening it?”
“Oh, so I exist now?” Bianca growled, still staring at the lock as she messed with it.
“What do you mean? What’s wrong?”
Bianca scoffed, giving up on the lock as she slammed her hand against the locker, staring up at Drew. “You’re embarrassed of me, admit it. Being seen with me will ruin your reputation.”
“Bianca I—”
“Save it, Drew,” she interrupted, “I get it. Once we’re out of the boiler room, we don’t have to interact with each other.”
“Will you just shut up?” Drew said grabbing her around the waist and pulling her into a passionate kiss, not even caring about the school rules. Bianca smiled against his lips, her hands running through his short, brown hair. After a moment, he pulled away. “Does that answer your dilemma?” Drew asked with a soft laugh.
“So you don’t care what people will say about us?” Bianca asked looking into his eyes, trying to hide the smile that was quickly forming.
“If you don’t, I don’t.” He answered smiling down at her. Before she knew it, the smile had appeared on her face with no chance of going. “I like being around you.” Drew said moving closer to her.
“Same here,” Bianca replied, placing her hand on his shoulder. She was extremely happy that the boy she had liked since the beginning of the year, was now here in front of her, reciprocating those same feelings.
